Our Process

Sonoma, CA Project. Outside front, and inside deconstruction.
Our unique methods
Because we offer a complete package of green building services, we can literally take care of everything for you–from project start to finish. Green Living Sonoma can:
- Connect you with a lender to finance the purchase of a property.
- Find the right architect to design your dream home.
- Handle all the construction and/or remodeling from the time you break ground to the day you move in.
- Connect you with a talented interior designer and qualified landscaper to put the finishing touches on your project–inside and out.
Typical project phases
 |
1) Initial consultation:The initial project review session is a good way to find out what kinds of services you may need and how we might be able to assist you throughout the process. |
 |
2) Pre-construction: We'll assemble the best possible team for your project and make sure everybody has a clear vision of how the work should proceed and what the final product should look like. |
 |
3) Construction:
Throughout the building process we provide weekly progress updates and
keep you informed of every step along the way. We'll explain all your
options and help you make the tough decisions. |
 |
4) Completion: During the final walk-through, we'll make sure all the details have been attended to. We'll check for proper installation of household equipment and verify that everything is operating correctly. |
 |
5) Post-construction: Your home can benefit from periodic check-ups just like your car does. The mechanical systems in any house are used daily and it's wise to tune them up every once in a while.

** TIP OF THE MONTH **
Radiant heating systems are a comfortable way to heat your home and can be energy efficient as well as cost effective - if they are designed properly. Every project is different and your radiant system should be tailored to meet your specific heating needs. There are several options to keep in mind including radiant floors, radiant baseboard heaters and radiant walls.
